ILLUMINATION Command

The intensity of a point depends on the angle between the surface normal and the light source position. The default position is at the viewpoint. Up to 9 additional light source positions may be defined; the current one is used.

ILlumination

When no arguments are present, the current and defined light source positions are listed.

ILlumination VX VY VZ

Set current light position at location (VX, VY, VZ)

ILlumination N VX VY VZ [ Name ]

Set light source position N at location (VX, VY, VZ) and make it the current light source. 0 <= N <= 9. If N = 0, the location is ignored and the default light at the viewpoint is used. Name, if present, is shown in the Retrieve Light submenu of the Projection menu.

ILlumination [ N ] { Down | Up | Left Right } [ T ]

Rotate light source position N (or current light if N is omitted) T degrees in specified direction. T defaults to 5 degrees unless set by ILLUMINATION/ANGLE. If N = 0, the rotation is ignored and the default light at the viewpoint is used.

ILlumination Angle A

Set default rotation angle to A degrees.
