IMAGE Command

IMage [ REad | SAve ] FILENAME

READ an image directly from FILENAME and display it on the screen. The size of the graphics window is adjusted to accommodate the image.

SAVE the image in the graphics window directly to FILENAME.

Note that reading an image from a file only reads the image into graphics memory; the Sabrina geometry representation is not affected.

Image file reading and writing has only been tested on 8-plane and 24-plane displays. The feature should work on displays with less than 8 planes and those where the number of color planes is a multiple of 8. An image file written on an 8-plane display can be read on a 24-plane display but not vice-versa.
